Turn the flash off, and sit as close as possible. I would use auto exposure with spot metering, if your camera has it.
Just a word of caution – last concert I was at no camera’s were allowed and they were taking them away at the door – so check into whether you are allowed to take pictures or not.
People that took camera’s had to check them into the coat room – if you have an expensive camera you might not want to do that.
People that managed to still sneak their camera into the concert and then were foolish enough to use it with the flash going off – security were *jumping* on them (not literally) and taking the camera’s away.
Other than that – so sorry I do not know the best settings for your camera but just wanted to share my latest experience. Have a blast at the concert and enjoy the music.
Firstly…you will be lucky if you can get your camera into the concert, and if you do, lucky if you can get any decent shots.
You will need to raise your ISO, but in doing so will give you quite a lot of ‘noise’.
Of course you need to turn the flash OFF…unless you want some security guy to hassle you.
You will need a slower shutter speed, lens open wide and you will need to keep the camera absolutely still.
In my opinion, you should just go and have a good time and maybe leave the camera at home, because I doubt if you can get very good shots.
(and those security guys can be scarey) lol
