What is the best camera to use at a American Idols concert?

Ok i go to a lot of the american idols concerts. what is the best kind of camera to use.i have a kodak C703 but i cant seem to take good pics with it. is their a center setting i should set it on so i can take better pics ? or should i buy a new camera. any ideas??

A DSLR with the best off-camera flash you can find, high ISO. And as close to the stage as you can get. Oh, and a fast zoom.
I agree that a DSLR is the only kind to use, but most concerts will not allow this kind to be brought in. You won’t get good pictures with a point & shoot.
