What is the best breakup album of all time?

Best Album of all time
A.P.K asked:

I was thinking the best records are made as a result of the heartbreak of the artist who made them

Personally, I think it’s between Blonde on Blonde (about Bob’s fallout wih Suze, “Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands”) or Of Montreal’s Hissing Fauna. If you never heard them check them out, they are both excellent records.

Do you have any breakup albums you can reccomend?
Trey- Great pick.

Mr. Know it all- Great pick
Nick B, and hippy guy- Nice.

I think Blood on the Tracks works better as a breakup album than Blonde on Blonde does, as good an album as BoB is.

You know, the first step to getting over someone probably isn’t listening to depressing break up music.

I’m just throwing that out there.
