Taylor Swift Concert Tickets Dallas

Taylor Swift is a striking teenaged music prodigy setting the world on fire and making millions with her pop-country hits. One of the youngest songwriters to ever emerge so brightly from Nashville, Swift has become one of the country’s most successful artists in just a few short years. Now on her first headlining concert tour, she comes to Dallas for a sold out show on September 25, expected to be perhaps the biggest live music event of the year for the city.

An unconventional rise to prominence has benefitted Swift, a girl from Pennsylvania and the daughter of a homemaker and stockbroker. At only nineteen years of age, she’s come a long way from her original venues of karaoke and local theatre, although her talent has always been evident.

By age 12 Taylor was playing guitar and writing her own songs, and just five years later she released “Tim McGraw”, a teenaged country heartbreak ballad which rose to #6 on the country charts. By the time last year’s album “Fearless” was released, she was dominating not only the Nashville charts, but Top 40 and mainstream pop charts. Her innocent themes, pop friendliness and native talent have made her appealing to fans of all kinds of music, ages and cultures.

Now Taylor Swift is headlining her first tour, one of the youngest artists to ever get top billing in so many huge venues. Some are predicting Swift will be near the top in concert tour earnings this year, with her show back on May 22 in Los Angeles’ Staples Center selling out in two minutes and almost every show selling out weeks before the date of the concert. Frequently compared to Carrie Underwood, the beautiful young music prodigy Swift has risen to heights not seen in country music since Garth Brooks even without Underwood’s American Idol exposure.

Dallas’ show is to be played at the American-Airlines Center, one of the largest indoor concert venues anywhere in Texas, home to the team’s NBA and NHL franchises. Even with tens of thousands of tickets to offer, the show sold out in a matter of minutes, though ticket brokers always have great deals on shows like Swift’s. Dallas is Texas’ first city and one of country music’s most lucrative markets and toughest crowds. Swift is expected to enchant the Big D like she has crowds across the US and Canada, with her extreme talent and beloved showmanship.

Dallas gets to see a lot of concerts, but observers of the city’s live music calendar are excited to see what kind of show fans will get when Taylor Swift comes to Victory Park and the American-Airlines Center in September. With talent, beauty and brains, fans of every style are ready to be knocked over with her performance.
