Many bands are passionate about what they do, but it is not often you will find one that is pure as well. Jonas Brothers happens to be one of those bands; a band that parents and kids can agree on. Many – who are not familiar with them – still call them your typical “boy band”, but they are not. Shortly, Hollywood Records signed a contract, with the band, for the release of their second album. The entire album was great, but there were two key songs here – “Kids of the Future” and “I Wanna be Like You”. Both of these songs got the band recognized, and things started to change.

It wasn’t long after that their third album – “A Little Bit Longer” – was released to the public. This album contained a number of hits and was the turning point for the Jonas Brothers. Songs like “Burnin Up”, “Pushin’ Me Away”, “Tonight”, and “A Little Bit Longer” where number one hits on iTunes for a long period. The release of this album and their new number one hits influenced ticket sales instantly!

The Jonas Brothers, like any other band, are on tour and making appearances in many major cities. However, there are other venues in which to enjoy their performances as well, like on Disney Channel. It is here that they make guest appearances on shows like Hannah Montana. They also started as a band of three whom were sent off to music camp in one of Disney’s original movies – “Camp Rock”.

In their short existence as a popular band they have already won a number of awards and honors. They won American Music Awards “Breakthrough Artist” award two short years after being founded – in 2008. That same year they were nominated for a Grammy for “Best New Artists”. They have also acquired awards from MTV – Europe Music Awards “New Act” – and Nickelodeon – Kid’s Choice Award “Favorite Music Group”.

These boys are marking their territory quickly and making a great name for themselves. They are fully supported, and managed, by their parents – all of which helps to make them one of the greatest family bands in a long time. Their fans, after only a few years, are loyal and will continue to support them for years to come.
