Blindrnan: Anthony desires reprisal from a gentleman who robbed 50 mail order newlyweds. This provides meaningless amusement, albeit some film with Ringo as an oily Mexican bandit might help the film. Cast includes Tony Anthony, Ringo Starr, Agneta Eckemyr, and Lloyd Batista.(105 minutes, 1972)
The Abdication: A slow pace documentary-drama of that tells the story of Sweden’s Queen Christina who leaves her thrown and converts to Catholicism. The man sent to test her loyalty to the church becomes the man she falls in love with. Peter Finch, Cyril Cusack, Paul Rogers, and Michael Dunn star. (1974 Drama-History)
C’mon, Lets Live a Little: People singer Vee enrolls in college, romances De Shannon, is exploited by learner drastic Ireland. Cast includes Bobby Vee, Jackie De Shannon, Eddie Hodges, John Ireland, Bo Belinsky, Patsy Kelly, and Kim Carnes. (85 minutes, 1967)
Gordon’s War: While a Vietnam vet comes home to find his spouse caught on medications, he trains 4-gentleman army to annihilate the pushers. Excellent action, although gets lost toward the end. Cast includes Paul Winfield, Carl Lee, David Downing, and Tony Baron. (90 minutes, 1973)
The Fabulous Baker Boys: 2 brothers’ for 15 year partnership as a double-piano nightclub lounge act is rattled by the addition of a feisty (and seductive) singer, who kindles changes in their act, and their relation. Author Kloves’ prompting debut is trendy and self assured, with some awesome scenes and set pieces, although it skimps on tale-and by no means seriously fleshes out Jeff Bridges’ morose personality. The Bridges brothers are impeccably cast, Pfeiffer is superlative. Her misty rendition of “Makin’ Whoopee”, although piano pondered a little, is classic. Cast includes Jeff Bridges, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dude Bridges, Ellie Raab, and Jennifer Tilly. (113 minutes, 1989)
Gay Puree: An ignorant feline’s misadventures in. Paris. Fashionable animation from UPA office, written by ‘Get rid of Dorothy Jones’ requires storytelling energy. Chief positive holdings are Garland and Goulet acting primordial melodies by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg, who inscribed THE Magician OF OZ score for Judy years before. Cast includes Robert Goulet, Burgundy Buttons, Hermione Gingold, Paul Frees, and Morey Amsterda. (86 minutes, 1962)
Eye For An Eye: Karen McCann has just had her life shattered. A total stranger has broken into her home and murdered her daughter. In spite of certain guilt, the killer is set free due to legal technicalities. Her outrage turns to an obsession to see justice done. Just how far will she go to achieve this?
Ocean’s 13: Casino owner Willy Bank has extracted some revenge on the gang that had robbed his casino. His double cross of Reuben Tishkoff has left the man in critical condition in the hospital. This is all the inspiration Danny Ocean needs to take Bank down one more time.
Jack-Knife: Cast includes Easy and engaging tale of a Vietnam vet De Niro who looks up an old Army friend Harris and tries to get him to face up to his censored flashbacks of Nam, and their reciprocal best buddy who died there. In the mean time, a romance blossoms between De Niro and Harris’ wallflower sibling, with whom he lives. Cast includes Robert De Niro, Ed Harris, Kathy Baker, Charles Dutton, and Loudon Wright. (102 minutes, 1989)
Try a search phrase something like “Movie Dowloads”. If a search does not yield a good result, try different searches. Try something different, like “Downloading DVDs”.
