How Do I Download Movies

For a long time we have used the video store as one of our main ways to access movies. You can now save a trip to the video store and download movies right off the internet. Below, is a sample of some of the movies you can find using movie download sites.

Abe Lincoln in Illinois: This is a top notch story of a key piece of American history. Raymond Massey is simply outstanding as Abe Lincoln. This film is an accurate recount of President Lincoln’s life. The film is based on Robert Sherwood’s highly acclaimed play. Ransom: Executive Tom Mullen has a problem. His son has just been kidnapped, and is being held for a huge ransom. Defying law enforcement advice, he comes up with his own plan for dealing with the kidnapper, and refuses to pay.

Accattone: Accattone is an unforgiving expose of the lives of the crooks and pimps in the ghettos of Roma. In particular we follow the life of Vittorio Accattone, a pimp whose life is coming unraveled. He becomes a pitiful figure trying to find his way. Franco Citti, Franca Pasut, Roberto Scaringella, and Adele Cambria are the stars. (1961 Foreign-Italian)

Stage Fright: Theater student Wyman turns covert sleuth while an actress’ spouse is killed. There are some stimulating scenes however the Mr. Hitchcock misses on this one. Cast includes Marlene Dietrich, Jane Wyman, Richard Todd, Kay Walsh, Aastair Sim, Joyce Grenfell, Sybil Thorndike, and Patricia Hitchcock. (110 minutes, 1950)

Slave Ship: 92 Slave Ship is an exciting story of a slave transport mutiny with an acclaimed author vitally harmed when on safari in Africa, trying to see if he discovered some meaning to his past. The film is based on Hemingway tale. Cast includes Warner Baxter, Wallace Beery, Elizabeth Allan, Mickey Rooney, George Sanders, and Jane Darwell. (92 minutes, 1937)

Ace Ventura, Pet Detective: This movie is directed by Tom Shadyac. This is a classically wacky Jim Carey comedy. He is cast as Ace Ventura, a pet detective. The mascot of the Miami Dolphins has been kidnapped, and it is up to Ace Ventura to crack the case. Jim Carrey, Courtney Cox. And Sean Young star. (1994 Comedy)

12 Monkeys: The year is 2035 and the human race has been nearly demolished. Only about 1% of the population has survived, and life on the surface of the planet is impossible. Scientists now send a reluctant man back in time, to try and stop the whole sequence of events before they get started.

Daylight: Robbers felling the scene of a crime crash their getaway car into a truck in front of one of the main tunnels connecting Manhattan and New Jersey. Unfortunately this truck is filled with explosives and the explosion traps everyone inside the tunnel. The underwater tunnel is also weakened by the blast and could fill with water very quickly. Emergency Medicals Services Chief Kit Latura will try to go into the tunnel and rescue those trapped.

Get Smart: Maxwell Smart is back. It’s CONTROL versus KAOS in the classic battle of good versus evil. Analyst Maxwell is thrust into the role as secret agent and must put down the attack by KAOS, and their leader Siegfried.

We have already seen the music industry take off online. We are now seeing the same evolution in the world of movies. Movie downloads just might be the wave of the future.
