Shooter – Retired Marine Corp Sniper Bob Lee Swagger is asked to travel to Washington, to help pursue another sniper that will attempt to execute the President. What happens to him next is a complete shock. The same US government people that he is helping are actually setting him up to take the fall for the shooting. He somehow escapes when he is shot, and is now on the run. He is also ready to fight back.
The All-American Boy – Cluttered drama in reference to Olympic aspirant Voight’s effort to be a triumphant boxer; stunning locations of northern California, but that is all. Cast includes Jon Voight, Ned Glass, Anne Archer, and Carol Androsky. (104 minutes, 1989)
The Search – Poignant drama of American cadet Clift regarding for concentration camp survivor Jandl in postwar Berlin, when the boy’s mommy sadly looks all over the camps for him. Beautifully performed and directed. Cast includes Montgomery Clift, Ivan Jandl, Aline MacMahon, Jarmila Novotna, and Wendell Corey. (105 minutes, 1948)
Fantomas against Scotland Yard – Mocking cliffhanger-type venture story, with Marais as wonderful felon involved in sports orientated adventures. Cast includes Jean Marais, Louis De Funes, Mylene Demongeot, and Henri Serre. (104 minutes, 1966)
Addicted to Love – This movie is a gloomy comedy where we see an ex-boyfriend, and an ex-girlfriend spying on their past partners. They find themselves teamed together, with the young lady planning acts of revenge for her past partner. Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Kelly Preston, and Tcheky Karyo star.
