Find Out About Jackson Guitars
Jackson Guitars started in the guitar industry in the 70′s from a small guitar setup store located in Southern California. From then on, Jackson guitars have been a well known place to look for guitars, shredding axes, and other guitars.
In summer of 1979 Grover Jackson announced his hand made Charvel guitars at the NAMM show Atlanta, the guitar has made itself known to many heavy bands. Because of the companys name, Randy Rhoads, then guitarist of the Ozzy Osbourne band contacted Jackson in 1980 to get them to design him a new guitar.
Though this creation for Randy was later on rejected because of a new version with additional features that Rhodes himself suggested, this has not become an obstruction for Jackson Guitars popularity to boost in mid 80s. Some of the famous and lasting Jackson creations are the Kelly TM, King V, Double Rhoads, Soloist TM, Bolt on Neck Dinky, Concert TM Bass, PC1, and the devilishly designed X-shaped Warrior. Until now Jackson Custom Shop is the longest-standing custom shop in the US.
Like other guitar makers Jackson has made popular by their series of guitars. The JS series includes 8 models, MG Series has 7 models, Pro Series with its 17 models, USA Select Series contains 18 models, X Series with 5 models, Concert Bass Series has 3 models, and Artist Signature has 11 models.
They also have wide choice of guitar models according to Body Type the Dinky, Kelly, King V, Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior, Concert Bass, and Artist Signature. Well over 60 guitars are sorted by the various models and others are sorted by left or right handed. These guitars are still divided into left handed models, which include five designs, and the right handed models, which have fifty-five designs.
Jackson Guitar is also used by bands and artist Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden who used a late 80s Custom Shop Guitar, Chris Beattie of Hatebreed plays the Jackson signature bass, Christian Olde Walbers of Fear Factory plays the 6 & 7 string Signature Dinky, Phil Demmel of Machine Head finds the Demmeltion King V magnificent. These and a lot more artists continue to patronize instruments of Jackson Guitar.
