In a huge surprise, Vermeil keeps him on the team. In a fairy tale ending, Vince actually scores a touchdown in his short NFL career.

Apollo 13: This film recounts the incredible story of the Apollo 13 mission to the moon. Nearing the moon, the spacecraft experiences multiple systems failures. With the oxygen supply failing and systems not functioning, they are stranded mover 200,000 miles from Earth. Against impossible odds, the crew of Apollo 13, and thousands of people on the ground, all work tirelessly on creative solutions to bring them safely home. The fact that this crew survived this mission is one of the truly miraculous stories of our lifetime.

Spy Hard: Here is a spy spoof comedy, featuring Leslie Nielson as agent WD-40. Dick Steel (WD-40) is being asked to come out of retirement after fifteen years. The Happiest Days of Your Life: Pat Patricia to take issues into her own hands. Beautifully orchestrated and photographed by Jack Hildyard, with Laughton having a territory night in the steel. The movie Loses propulsion during the voyage but it is still amusing. Cast includes Alastair Sim, Margaret Rutherford, Gentleman Middleton, Joyce Grenfell, Edward Rigby, Muriel Aked, John Bentley, Bernadette O’Farrell, and Richard Wattis. (84 minutes, 1950)

Murders in the Rue Morgue: Sensationalistic reworking of Poe tale. The competitors at Grand Guignol-type theaters suddenly become sufferers of genuine-life slayings, and gory goings-on. Set in Paris, although filmed in Spain. Cast includes Jason Robards, Herbert Lom, Christine Kaufinann, Lilli Palmer, and Adolfo Celi. (87 minutes, 1971)

Just Between Friends: Ladylike tearjerker in reference to 2 ladies who strike up a kinship, clueless that they share the identical guy-one as spouse, one as lover. Too pat, too nice and tidy to seriously hit home, albeit the performing is first-rate, and Lahti is great as the lone occupation lady. This is a fine role for Jane Greer, too, as Mary’s mama. National Treasure: Ben Gates has been hunting his whole life for a legendary national treasure. Following in a long line of Gates who have lived out there lives chasing clues this great mystery, Ben finds himself in a race for the treasure against a criminal mastermind. He must steal the Declaration of Independence in order to protect the clues and the document from this criminal. The clues lead him on his continued pursuit of this supposed national treasure.
