Depeche Modes upcoming CD Release: Sounds of the Universe
Depeche Mode is set to put out CD number twelve for them. The CD, titled Sounds of the Universe will be released on April 21, and has 13 tracks. It will be released in Germany four days earlier, as well as internationally on April 20th. There are 2 songs that Martin Gore sings, as well as one instrumental track. The first single was recorded in the United States and is called “Wrong.” The track uses drum machines as well as synthesizers, so fans of Depeche Mode will love this.
There will be a deluxe version of the album, which will have five bonus tracks and old and new demo recordings. This comes packaged as a three CD boxset with a DVD and two books. You can buy the package in vinyl as well.
Depeche Mode consists of three England natives, Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, and Andrew Fletcher. They have all been performing and making music since 1980. Although they are from England, the whole world is a fan.
The band will also be going on tour under the name of Tour of the Universe. This is a worldwide tour beginning in May in Europe and ending up in America.
The internet claimed to have premature versions of tracks, which the band cited as rough cuts. Reviewers have actually gotten copies of the album and there are online comments about it. The reviews are positive it seems, saying the sounds are very close to their roots. This can be good for the band, with the old school shift in pop music lately.
