Scandalous – Featherbrained facade in regards to investigative Television journalist who runs afoul of a team of con artists as he tries to disentangle himself from a homicide charge. Cast includes Robert Hays, John Giegud, Pamela Stephenson, and Jim Dale. (94 minutes,’84)

The Seniors – 4 collegians open a fake sex hospital, which mushrooms into a multi million dollar business. The movie is alternately stupid and sarcastic, with some harmless nudity thrown in. The Last Seduction – Pathologically malevolent and strikingly sensual female ditches her spouse, pillages the money he has made in a drug deal, and escapes N.Y.C. to a tiny upstate town where she allures and bewilders a local gentleman who becomes her latest patsy. Fiorentino’s spicy femme fatale makes Stanwyck in Triple Indemnity look like Snow White! The movie is a sizzling, seductive thriller from contemporary film noir master Dahl and author Steve Barancik. Cast includes Linda Fiorentino, Peter Berg, J. T. Walsh, Bill Nunn, Bill Pullman, Michael Raysses, and Zach Phifer. (110 minutes,’94)

Slaughter’s Big Ripoff – A murderer is still playing games with the Mafia in this dull action film. McMahon gives more effort to his role as the mob boss than it is worth. Cast includes Jim Brown, Ed McMahon, Brock Peters, Don Stroud, Gloria Hendry, Dick Anthony Williams, and Art Metrano. (93 minutes,’73)
