BMW in March international sales dropped 17.2 per hundred year-on-year

BMW Group announced on the 7th, in March 2009 the BMW Group car sales fell 17.2 percent year-on-year, from 152,586 the same period last year, to 126,375.

“The 17.2 per hundred down turn in February than a minor slowdown in the United States and Germany, and the market there have been some significant indications of recovery. But now conversing about international rebound is still too early to say.” BMW Group is to blame for trading and sales of Board Member Ian Robertson said, he furthermore said that the BMW Group in China, India and Brazil, appearing market sales up by 14% year-on-year to 16,580.

BMW brand vehicles in March sold a total of 104,417

(-17.0%), Mini and Rolls-Royce sales were 21,888 (-18.5%) and 70 (-17.6%). The first quarter of 2009, BMW assembly vehicle sales dropped 21.2 per hundred year-on-year to 277,264, one of the BMW emblem dropped 20.5% to 233,498; Mini emblem dropped 24.9 per hundred to 43,592; Rolls-Royce traded 174, up down 4.9%.
