the Crue for sure they put on a hell of a show last month, and Van Halen puts on amazing shows too still..i just wish EVH was a little more on top of his game when i saw him in february, but it’s fine diamond dave kickedass
The Smashing Pumpkins are phenomenal. It’s as tight as the studio work, but with extended solos, jams, etc… Billy Corgan gives pretty awesome speeches too :]
Nine Inch Nails would be the best I’ve ever seen live. I’ve seen them several times and each show was amazing. The lighting and video screens get better with every tour!
Local H is awesome live, for a two man band they put on a hell of a show and have a huge amount of energy
Here’s some others that I saw live and I really enjoyed their performances: Tool, Muse, Snake River Conspiracy, Stabbing Westward, A Perfect Circle, etc…

The Who
Pink Floyd
U2

I am unforunately too young to have seen them live, but all of my co-adult-fans say they were the BOMB. Nirvana if you haven’t already guessed.
Muse definitely.
In Flames, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Straight Reads the Line, Tenacious D, Killswitch Engage
After 100 + different concerts.. my shortlist would be:
KISS- Amazing spectacle. Average music..but great show.
Metallica- They blow you away each time, no matter how lousy the studio album may be.
Sevendust- Their pits are freaking GREAT. LJ and company pump the fans like few I have seen.
Iron Maiden- there is a reason they still pack Stadiums all aorund the world 33 years later.
The Grateful Dead- You will seldom find a more festive atmosphere than when Jerry was alive. And the jams and improvs defy description.
Underoath’s energy levels are intense at their shows!
Green Day, because they have fun with crowd. I hear there some of the best concerts.
Rammstein. They have an awesome concert. They wear masks that shoot fire. They use a lot of fire and other things too.
Nine Inch Nails would be the best I’ve ever seen live. I’ve seen them several times and each show was amazing. The lighting and video screens get better with every tour!
