Am I young to see bands live?
Nalani Saurus asked:
Well I LOVE Chiodos. They’re coming to my area on March 10th.
I REALLY want to see them, because I’ve never seen them live.
What should I do to convince them? Or should I just not go?
Or am I too YOUNG?
11, Sorry!

HOW OLD ARE YOU? I WOULD NEED TO KNOW IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THAT!!!!
Edit: I would say yes then
lol… no i dont think so… just go if you love the music. i dont think age matters
as long as your parents go with you theres nothing wrong. and if u rele love them then why not?
Chiodos
there pretty awesome.
11 aye.
definitely wouldn’t go in a mosh pit.
you’ld get crushed.
if they have seats it should be good.
If your screen name is your full name then you need to alter it.
You sound pretty mature about it all. I guess you can give it your best shot, but accept it gracefully if they say no. I know how it feels, when I was 11 I desperately wanted to see some of my favourites at the time (Green Day, Blink, etc.) live, but my parents didn’t allow me until I was about 12/13. They were worried about drunk hooligans, getting crushed by the crowd, all that kind of thing, but when I finally went to a gig it was NOTHING like that – there’s loads of security and it’s usually kept completely under control. Anyone dangerous will be removed. I’ve seen some pretty heavy bands like Gallows since then and it’s so easy to stay away from any extreme moshing or jumping about that’s going on. Some people at the gigs genuinely just want to stand and watch the band, rather than go bizerk.
I’d recommend you ask if you can go with a few friends, then they might feel a little safer about it. If they absolutely don’t want this, ask if one of them will come. Just express to them how much you want to see this band and that you’ll be happy dealing with any of their conditions or ground rules to do so.
I never did get to see Blink, and they ended up breaking up so now I’ll never get the chance – it’s something I’ll always wish I’d done so take the opportunity while you can!
Good luck =)
Nah as long as you go with an adult your fine. I went to my first concert when I was 12.
don’t get into the mosh pit and you’ll be fine^^
but whoever you go with, make sure that there’s someone older with you, like a cousin or a sibling.
I’m 13, and I practically did get crushed at an antiskeptic concert. Whatever you do, dont wear thongs in the mosh pit!
Chiodos are awesome!
you should check with the venue… some gigs are age restricted so that no one under the age of 14 can go….
i’m not sure if they will let you go if youre with a parent or someone responsible enough to make sure you dont get hurt…
good luck =)
nah, concerts are for all ages. just get one of your parents (or another adult) to go with you. before i could drive, i had my mom take me to many concerts. it was kinds uncool, but worth it if i got to see my favorite bands live!
Just stay away from pits and you will be fine i have been to many shows 3/4 of the time everybody is in seats there is no problem with how old you are.
However, you are too young to go alone you need someone older with you.
Yeah, you’ll definitely be able to go. I went to see Red Hot Chilli Peppers when I was 11 and they were really good, even though I don’t even like them anymore now cause I’m into the goth music. But yeah, I don’t think there’s an age limit unless they don’t want young children to damage their hearing because it’s so loud in concert. Hope you have a nice time!
not too young to go to the show, but you’re too young to go in the mosh pits, no one would be able to see you (unless you’re really tall for your age) and it’s just a dangerous place to be for someone your age, i’m 14 and i’m not allowed to go in one.
UR NEVER TO YOUNG TO GO
just..
stay away from the moshpit
just a heads up…
