Gus: The football kicking mule leads a last-place team to success; crooks try to abduct Gus with typical outcomes like a weak chase scene in this anticipation thriller. Across the Universe: A young English boy comes to the US to find his father. On his search he finds, and falls in love with an American girl. Set in post Vietnam War US, this movie is really a vehicle to play a lot of Beatles music. Cast includes Julie Taymor. Evan Rachel Wood. Jim Sturgess, Joe Anderson, Dana Fuchs, Martin Luther McCoy. The Lost World; Jurassic Park: John Hammond has learned to bring dinosaurs back to life from their DNA. After an attempt at marketing viewing these dinosaurs goes terribly wrong, all the animals are killed and the island closed. The problem is that something has survived.

Heartbreaker: Chicano Allende falls for WASP Dunlap among an ambiance of custom-fitted cars. Dull self sufficient production is displeasingly devoid of observations into the lifestyle it portrays.
