The African UOD: Momentous Real-Life documentary is possibly Disney’s best. Botanists Alfred and Elma Milotte filmed the African lion in his local dwelling through a year’s cycle of seasons. Cast includes James Algar. The film is depicted by Winston Hibler. (75 minutes, 1955)
Good Morning Miss Dove: For few generations, tiny-town spinster schoolteacher has felt and helped condition lives of her learners. Now hospitalized, her past is exposed through flashbacks. Movie theaters deal. Cast includes Jennifer Jones, Robert Pile, Kipp Hamilton, Robert Douglas, Ditch Connors, Mary Wickes, and Richard Deacon. (107 minutes, 1955)
Crimson Tide: The USS Alabama has been put to sea. A Russian nuclear submarine is now in the hands of a rebel faction of the old Soviet Union. An order to attack has come down from high command. With the threat of WWIII in the balance, the Captain, and the Lt. Commander disagree on the best course of action to take.
Wild Wild West: This is a big screen adaptation to the old TV series of the same name. James West and his buddy Artemus Gordon are determined to stop the evil Dr. Arliss Loveless, who is planning to assassinate the president. Will Smith stars as James West.
Kiss The Killers: Best selling author, and forensic detective Alex Cross learns that his sister has been kidnapped. Further investigation tells him that there have been at least seven other victims. He gets help in his search from Kate McTieman, who is the only victim to escape from the notorious kidnapper known as ‘Casanova’.
